Blacks Family Christmas at OUR house!!!

Before we head to Mississippi... We had Christmas in Indiana with Jason side!!! I fixed pork tenderloin, mash potatoes, green bean bundles, and a salad along with sugar cream pie.. YUMMY!!! We then open up gifts with everyone.. Jason received two new xbox games so off the boys went downstairs so us girls watched the movie "The Women". The night was fun and a great family Christmas gathering.

Thanksgiving in California!

We spent this past Thanksgiving in Anaheim, California at the National American Miss pageant. While Jason worked I socialized with the girls, traveled to Disney Land, and shopped for Christmas. Thanksgiving dinner was not a Mississippi dinner, but I was with my hubby for our first Thanksgiving. Overall, it was a great time!!

Where we live in Indiana you can go snow skiing about an hour away. So molly and casey come up each year and we go skiing. Its by far not Colorado or Utah, but we make the best of the Indiana snow.

Beach With the Fam!!!

We went to Florida with my family, jason's parents and my cousin Alex in July. We had a fun and relaxing time. We spent the days on the beach and the guys spent long nights at the bar. We hope to make this a yearly trip.

Dale Hollow Summer!!

Every summer we go to the Black's family lake house at Dale Hollow Lake. Jason and I both love to be on the water. All we are missing is our own boat. For the past two summer we have worked with Tiko on liking the water and enjoying swimming. This summer he started tubing with Jason and I. He loves it!!! This is about halfway between Mississippi and Indiana so my family always meets us there which makes it even better. This is the cabin over looking the lake where Jason proposed to me so it will always be a special place to the two of us

Honeymoon in St. Lucia

We spent five days at a sandals resort in St. Lucia. It was beautiful. I would love to go back anytime. We spent our days on the beach and at the pool, and the evening trying out different restaurants at the three sandals resorts. As they say, "Stay at one and play at three." We also went to see a volcano and went snorkling. Jason also went water skiing with some of the locals. They were so nice. The best drink was the Dirty Banana. I had one in my hand at all time. The room was so romantic!!!! Jason did a great job at planning it!

Officially.. Mr. and Mrs. Black!!!!

WE ARE MARRIED AS OF APRIL 5th, 2008!!!! The wedding week was full of many busy nights trying to make the "day" just right. Things began to slow down by Thursday when me and my family had pedicures and manicures at the Germantown Day Spa. Then came Friday... We had the bridesmaids luncheon at the Memphis Country Club with a brunch and a few drinks. Then I headed home in the rain to prepare for the rehearsal and rehearsal dinner/party. The rehearsal dinner was a very special time with many special people in my life. We had a slideshow with many stories shared by everyone. Then the big day was finally here I AM GETTING MARRIED TODAY!!! Sister and I went had our hair done at Richard Co. to begin the day. Then it was time for pictures and then the ceremony. The ceremony was beautiful and everything I had ever dreamed of as a little girl. The reception followed with food, The Funk Monsters(band), and off to St. Lucia Mr. and Mrs. Black went. Thanks to everyone that help makes this an amazing day!!!
